Hey! VERY well written bit about Leia's taste in clothes. I HATE most women portrayed in sci-fi movies,you know, scantily clad or OVER dressed and running around screaming their heads off at every little thing that happens. I wish The Franklin Mint would include Leia in their "Vinyl Portrait Doll" series. I've even suggested it to them. She needs her own wardrobe trunk and authentically reproduced costumes. It would sell! Leia, in my opinion is a lot like Jackie Kennedy, simple, yet elegant. In the new Star Wars films, Amidala seems to be buried under all that fabric sometimes. Leia still wins the fashion award for costuming.
